| Comments: | The PAD Committee has reviewed the communications between the 2 clubs. The PAD Committee recommends the following in the future:
1. The referee should have sent off any player he heard using the N word. Using it is unacceptable in all situations and referees need to deal with it immediately by giving any player using a racial slur a direct red card.
2. Referee and coaches, when made aware of the use of the word should deal with it during the game.
While the PAD Committee is unable to take action here as the players uttering the racial slur have not been identified, the PAD Committee encourages both clubs to adequately discipline and educate their players. |
