Incident Summary:
Allegation that Newark recruited a player from Cal Magic to play for the Newark Elite ECNL team. The player now plays for the Newark Elite 2010B ECNL team.
Comments:
The player was registered with Cal Magic. Outside of the tryout window the player was invited to join Newark's ECNL team. The player requested his release from Cal Magic. The player then registered and played with Newark's ECNL team prior to receiving his release. NorCal's Board takes the position that if a club has teams playing in NorCal competitions, then that club is subject to NorCal's recruiting rules. The PAD Committee finds that this is a violation of NorCal's recruiting rules and refers the matter to the NorCal Executive Board to determine sanctions.
