Incident Summary:Allegation that coaches verbally abused the referee from the sidelines throughout the match.
Comments:The PAD Committee can take no action here because the coaches were not removed from the game. We advise the referee to be more forceful and send coaches off if necessary.
The coaches ALWAYS need to respect the match officials and we find that their behavior here was most likely lacking. The PAD Committee suggests that both coaches take a Positive Coaching Alliance course and remember at ALL TIMES to act in a sportsmanlike manner and to set a good example for their players and parents.
